Rita Abiodun


Rita Abiodun previously worked as a communication assistant at UNICEF Nigeria, focusing on young people. Currently, she works as a story gathering specialist for Oxfam in the Netherlands. With 8 years of professional experience in communications and advocacy, her career has spanned diverse sectors, including academia, private organizations, international NGOs, the United Nations, and civil society organizations.



Opadokun Abdulrazaq

He is a lecturer at the University of Abuja in Nigeria. He is a sustainable development expert with over 10 years of experience in academia.




Ademola Jeremiah

He is a medical practitioner with about 10 years of experience in climate-related issues. He is also a writer and essayist specializing in the climate and security nexus.

Taiwo Ogunwumi

A Geospatial Analyst and Hydraulic modeling expert, he has experience working on flood risk reduction projects in Africa and Europe funded by the World Bank and Dutch Embassy. Currently working with Deltares as a Flood Researcher and Advisor, he uses Compound Flood modeling (SFINCS, DFLOW-FM, FIAT, HEC-RAS) and Geospatial Data Science (Python, ArcGIS, QGIS) to develop sustainable solutions for urban, rural, and coastal flood resilience in regions like Nigeria and other African and Asian countries. His ambition is to produce transferable knowledge and innovations that can help communities mitigate flood risks.


Dr. OJO Adesina Samuel

Dr. OJO Adesina Samuel's academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry in 2021, following his Master's degree from the same field in 2015, both from the University of Abuja. He started his teaching career at Government Science Secondary School in Dutsin-Ma, Katsina, as a Chemistry Teacher (2010-2011). At God's Time Tutorial Centre (2011-2018), he became Coordinator and Chemistry Teacher, guiding students to excel in exams like NECO, WASSCE, and UTME. Currently a Lecturer II at Veritas University Abuja (since 2022), his dedication to education also led him to serve as a Part-time Lecturer in the Chemistry Department at the University of Abuja (2017-2019) and a Chemistry Lecturer and Coordinator at the School of Advanced Basic and Remedial Studies (since 2014). Alongside his teaching roles, he worked as an Examiner at the National Open University of Nigeria (2016-2017).
